NeiL AaroN is an original originally from Orange, CT. After graduating Roger Williams University in Bristol, RI with a BA in psychology, he high-tailed it cross-country and set up shop in San Francisco. With his new love Blu* GeaN the dog, he embarked on the adventure of following his dream of becoming a professional singer and songwriter.

NeiL AaroN studied voice lessons and blues/jazz harmonica privately for 3 years each. During this process, NeiL got more involved in the Independent music scene and became influenced by the songwriting of Amy Ray (Indigo Girls), Michelle Malone, and Danielle Howle, all of whom are on Amy‘s Independent label “Daemon Records”.

As he began guitar lessons, he met Margrit Eichler of “True Margrit” fame. The two became friends and collaborators on NeiL‘s debut CD “Single On Sunday (S.O.S.)”. NeiL and Margrit wrote all the songs for the album, and Margrit produced and engineered. The CD was recorded in Margrit’s studio “Absolutely True” in San Francisco with a myriad of talented local musicians, including the outstanding Jerri Jones and Pam Delgado of the hit band “Blame Sally”.

NeiL AaroN, while working as a preschool teacher and living as an independent musician, is currently playing shows solo or with the band around San Francisco. He is also currently writing his sophomore album as well as a children's album of original tunes tentatively called “Love is a Family”. He is also playing children‘s shows and parties and writing several series of children‘s books.

NeiL is also currently studying the guitar, piano, and drums. Blu* GeaN and NeiL still happily reside in San Francisco.
